The big question will be the approach of the cloud cover to our west. Will it arrive in time to prevent a freeze? My thinking is YES.
Yesterday's post mentioned the disturbance in the SW flow coming in from the Pacific. that will spread a thickening cloud cover over us on Saturday with some rain possible after dark into early on Sunday.
With such low dew points (dry air) over us, I don't expect any heavy rain totals. Expect highs to struggle to break 60 on Saturday with the lack of sunshine.
Our cool spell will last through Monday with a warming trend coming for much of next week. The worst weather today is up over the Northeast.
It's heavy coat weather from Minneapolis eastward. Finally, last night was hard to watch. We have been used to winning for many years. We knew losing Drew would be a challenge, but I don't think anyone expected to ss the vast number of injuries to so many starters. Losing is tough to watch and we can only hope it builds the character of the team. If we can get guys healthy ( including Taysom), have a quarterback that can throw downfield and relieve the pressure off the defense, we still have a chance to make this a special season. Don't give up on them yet. Stay tuned!
