Could Have Alex & Bonnie Back to Back

I'm getting this post out before the next advisory since I'm going to the new Top Gun movie!   The Potential Tropical Cyclone # 1 continues to have multiple centers on satellite and radar views.  I still believe NHC will name this system, but that might not happen until tomorrow.  In addition, there is a well defined swirl far off the East coast that NHC gives a low chance for development.  We could see Alex & Bonnie named in rapid fire tomorrow.

The only difference I see today is the NHC's center line track forecast has shifted farther to the south meaning less impacts for central Florida.  You can see how disorganized PTC 1 is.

I tried to indicate where the center might be (arrow/hand) on the color & radar views.   It's obvious upper wind shear continues to make this a lop sided system.  It will be a heavy rain event for Cuba & south Florida, but they have been alerted and should be ready for some street flooding.  I'll update later this evening.  Stay tuned and rock 'em Maverick!
