Give Me The Rubber Stamp For Now Till September...

When I first came to Ch. 8 back in 1978 (replacing Nash), Alex Gifford often would say "it's the rubber stamp forecast".  I learned that was a term Nash Roberts used many years before me.  I had to chuckle watching Zack Fradella on FOX 8 last night show the 7 day forecast that had the same temperatures and rain chances each day.  Nash would have been proud!  it's why I often say the 7 day is useless in the summer.

Unless the upper high sits right over us, there will be bubble up daytime heating T-Storms every day.  The Upper high will shift to the east this week staying far enough to our north to keep us in daily rain chances.

Some may call it boring, while I just like to think it's what supposed to happen in late July & August.

All the networks seem to be describing this as some historic, never has happened before extreme heat.  A look at past history shows us that is NOT the case.  But never let the facts get in the way of a good story.  There is an agenda out there that evolves around power & control.  President Eisenhower told us back in his leaving office in the late 50s..."beware of the intellectual elites".  

Locally, spotty storms have kept temps. less hot.   We know the drill.  Dan Milham coined the term "MOTS"   More of the Same!

The tropics are staying quiet.  Nuff said!    Finally, I was watching the news about a huge fire in California.

As you can see on the satellite view(arrow), this fire is huge.   Set by lightning?  Nope, no clouds.  Set by a stupid person?  Probably.  That's where I agree man is causing more fires.  Don't blame it all on the changing climate.  Stay tuned!
