It's Ethan' Time...

I have my only grandchild (Ethan) visiting BeBe & Pops this week so I probably won't post very often.  If you have been a long time follower, then you know Ethan loves hats.  He's nearing 3 1/2 years old and appears to have some personality as these pictures reveal.  Is this not an adorable little fella?!!!

Look at these two pictures.  The top was taken one year ago while the bottom is from this morning.

Yep, he's growing into a little man & talking his head off!   4 more days to enjoy him.

the Tropics are shut down wit lots of Saharan dust visible coming off of Africa.  None of the models have anything going on for another 10 days+.   Colorado State came out with their updated hurricane forecast and it has little change.  Of some concern is the # of hurricanes & major hurricanes still to come since we have zero so far (which is normal).

So don't be shocked when August & September go "nutso" with 8-12 named storms, many occurring at the same time.  For now, it's summer in the South.

Locally, a couple of storms are bubbling up.

The only cooling coming will be with a frontal boundary next week that will increase our rain chances.

Not really cooler, but less hot.  Stay tuned!
