NHC is watching for another wave to come off of Africa, but the rest of the Tropical Atlantic is asleep.
The remains of Earl are churning over the north Atlantic while the Caribbean has nothing happening.
A moisture boundary continues into the Gulf bringing lots of rain to Florida. But for us, we look to the north to see relief coming.
Drier and slightly cooler air is spilling our way. It's still in the 70s & 80s, but look at the dew points! 30s & 40s have plunged into Arkansas and we should start to feel that here Monday night.
I know it looks inviting, but this front will run out of gas once it reaches the Gulf with the maon cooling staying well north. However, the drier air will allow spots on the North Shore to fall into the 50s Tuesday morning with the South Shore in the upper 60s away from Lake P.
There is a slight chance for a shower ahead of the front tomorrow, but the next 3-4 days look mostly dry.
We are not done with 90 degree heat yet, but we're almost to real Fall. Again, SAINTS WIN, SAINTS WIN, Who Dat! Stay tuned!
