Before I leave for fishing today, this is just a quick update on the Tropics. Hurricane Julia is long gone, but some energy was lft behind over the Yucatan yesterday and has now drifted into the Bay of Campeche.
NHC has increased the chances for development to 60% and a recon plane is scheduled to investigate this afternoon.
Our next cold front will arrive here late Wednesday into Thursday blocking/protecting the northern Gulf from this disturbance. Hopefully that front brings us a few welcomed showers as we are now day 24 without rain. Next post late tomorrow PM. Stay tuned!
