What a truly beautiful & peaceful part of the country with still some colors on the trees. Weather was perfect until it turned colder this morning. Here, if you're dressed for it, our weather is terrific with a great Fall Feel.
Clouds kept temps mainly in the 50s with the brisk north winds making it feel colder. It's nothing like what's happening up north where the first real snow of the season is falling under a deep upper low.
As the upper low pulls to the east, the core of the cold will stay well north of us. For us, it's just a welcomed change.
Temperatures re not awful, but look at the low dew points coming in. 20s & 30s mean really dry air. With clearing skies and diminishing winds, lows could dip into the upper 30s far north.
This cooldown won't last very long as we're back near 80 over the weekend. Finally...
NHC is trying to form a late season named storm down over the Caribbean. With the current cold front plowing down into the Gulf, anything that might form will be blocked from us. Good to be home & Happy Halloween! Stay tuned!
