Geez, our guys sure make it look hard. Alvin makes catch, easy TD & Saints win. But Honey Badger steals another INT. saving win. No we're not going to Super Bowl, but this team is not that bad to lose 7 straight. It's also a win on the weather map as NHC has issued their final advisory on Rafael. WSW upper shear has blown all the storms away from his center leaving it exposed. The only lingering showers are well north and east making it an ugly Sunday here and over to the beaches.
So let's see when the cold air is coming. Sadly not this week.
It looks like there is an eastern upper trough, but the low over the Great Lakes is lifting out while the ridge over the Rockies will move our way.
There is a stationary boundary over western Louisiana, however, no cold air is behind it. Dew points are just much lower and some of that drier air may filter in this week. But I don't see a real dip in the upper flow coming to the Eastern states until after the 20th.
This is an old 7 day that will be updated on the FOX 8 web site before 5 PM. I don't see any rain chances this week, but that's just me. Certainly our above normal temps will continue. Finally,
All clouds have left the Rockies leaving the deep snow cover to stand out. While we've been 25-30 degrees above normal/average, the Rockies have been getting an early taste of Winter. As I've said before, usually when it is very warm for weeks, the pattern shifts to a much colder regime. I'm thinking we will have several opportunities for the white stuff between Dec. 10-30th. White Christmas anyone? Stay tuned!
