Sorry I couldn't post yesterday, but I've been dealing with hip surgery without a caregiver & it has proved more challenging than I expected. In addition, I'm dealing with numerous folks who are helping prepare my house for sale. I overdid it yesterday and just had to crash, but I'm back today after 10 hours of sleep. I'll quickly go over Hurricane Melissa, which was the worst storm to whack Jamaica in modern times. It is the only major Hurricane this season to have land impacts.
Melissa will roar by Bermuda tonight and will race over colder water, becoming weaker tomorrow.
With the upper trough centered over the eastern states, more cold fronts will be coming knocking down water temps and ending any tropical threats to the northern Gulf, but we knew that 2 weeks ago.
NWS is calling tomorrow's Halloween forecast one of the best ever. Sunny, cool & dry, perfect for the kids in costumes tomorrow night.
This is as cool as I like it to be all winter. But alas, we know what's coming. I'm just saddened to be missing out on all this great golfing and fishing weather due to my hip replacement. But I'm a quick healer.
To think we stayed in the 60s today, yet it didn't feel bad. As long as you're dressed for it, enjoy the next 7 days! Stay tuned!
