For thoe of you who commented that hip surgery was "a piece of cake", you were obviously not 78 nor abandoned by your caregiver. The past two days have been pure misery despite having 3 pain medications. Today is slightly better, but not much. I will try to do a quick FB Post. The main story is Melissa in the Caribbean.
She has a classic satellite presentation of a major hurricane. The color clearly show the bright reds around the eye wall and wherever she makes landfall, the impacts will be huge. Right now, that appears to be Jamaica & eastern Cuba.
As we mentioned two weeks ago, the hurricane season across the northern Gulf was over as the westerlies would turn anything away from us. More fronts are coming and it's time for sweater weather.
The good soaking rains are now to our east and we should enjoy a mostly dry week.
Look at the next front coming. 40s & 50s at night and highs in the 60s. Finally Fall. Stay tuned & keep the prayer line open for my recovery.
