I remember when I was broadcasting in October, it often went 2-3 weeks with nothing to talk about. I always tried to make it interesting, but many times it was just downright boring. We are in such a stretch as the Tropics have little going on. Lorenzo is officially gone with the 4 PM advisory from NHC.
That weak wave way off Africa is unlikely to develop until it reaches the Caribbean for NEXT weekend. Several models do develop something, which would be the 1st storm in the Caribbean this season. On top is the Euro valid for Next Friday.
Currently, there is an upper high that is keeping us hot & dry. That will slowly break down, allowing a weak front to stagger through late Saturday night.
The colder air is showing up over the Rockies and northern states, but it'll be another 7-10+ days before it gets to us. I actually don't mind the current warmth since the humidity has been lower.
If nothing is happening, I may not post again until Friday. Working on getting the next guest for my podcast. Stay tuned!
