I wanted to post sooner, but my cable company went dark on me during a totally sunny day. Your all know tonight will be the coldest night and IF you live north of Lake P., take full precautions as some far north locations will dip into the mid 20s. As I mentioned yesterday, I have done nothing as I expect there will be a huge Lake effect influence on the South Shore. To be safe, protect your tropical plants. Talking about lake effect. My sister Carol sent me these pictures from her daughter's (April) house in Valparaiso, IN.
Both Amelia (top) and Adeline (bottom) appear to like that white stuff. Been there, done that, too old to fool around worrying about slipping and falling on the ice. Locally, the warm up begins tomorrow.
Actually, I put on my heavy winter coats today and it felt pretty good since the humidity is so low. Some might call it invigorating! Finally,
After a wonderful open house on Saturday, I have no bidders on my home. Over 25+ people came through, many I'm sure just wanted to see where I live. C'mon Gang, I need a buyer so I can get to a settlement and resume my life. The price/sq. ft is below market and with all the hurricane proofing I've done (shutters, full house generator/ tinted premium windows, new roof) it's a steal. Tell a friend who's looking for a ready to move in home. It's cutting me to the core to sell it, but I'm forced to move on with my life. I'm not going to bury St. Joseph upside down in my garden! I trust my Creator will bring me a buyer in HIS time frame. Prayers for the little fella. Stay tuned!
